Samantha Samuels


Samantha is a graduate from Mercer University with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational leadership, with a focus on Small business and Non-Profit. She is the founder of @authenticmeconsulting. She just started a local chapter for the National Federation for Families of Children with Mental Health. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Mental Health and Wellness with a focus on family dynamics. She has accepted the Proclamation on behalf of the Caribbean Association of Georgia from the City of McDonough. She has been a pillar in her community. Samantha is from Guyana


Vice President

Garth Henton, Vice President
Garth is a retired customer service supervisor with the Norfolk Southern Railroad Corporation, he also has professional experience within the airline industry. He is an ordained minister who has served as Associate Pastor at Atlanta Metropolitan Church of God and at Hope Church in Morrow, Georgia. Garth is a graduate of Long Island University with a BS in Marketing and has completed graduate course work in Public Relations. He is a proud Caribbean (Jamaica, W.I.).

Christine Newton

Public Relations/Secretary

Christine is a graduate of Keller School of Engineering and Science with a Masters of Information System Management degree, Database Management and a Bachelors in Business Information System. She is the Project Manger for A Fashion Affair, certified in ICAgile (ICP) well-rounded background includes, Enterprise system mergers and separation, ETL and wireless telecom servicing business and large, complex government accounts (globally), Cloud technology, AWS, Firewall and Security management, Planning, natural langual Processing, automation. Christine enjoys helping special needs indiviudals reach their full potential with technology  


Assistant Public Relations

Assistant Relations Director

Shall perform all duties and responsibilities that has been assigned to the Public Relations Director when deemed necessary.  Additional duties as described in the Association job description which will be distributed to each Board Member upon appointment.



The secretary shall keep or cause to be kept all records, including minutes of all Caribbean Association of Georgia meetings. He/she will present updated minutes at all meetings. The secretary must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. He/she must be knowledgeable in all Microsoft programs, Adobe, CAG database and other appropriate programs. He/she shall promote all meetings and events hosted by CAG. The Secretary shall also keep or cause to be kept the membership data containing the names, phone numbers, addresses and email address of each member; shall give notice of all Regular or Special meetings of the Association; and shall generally perform all such duties as pertain to the office and as may be required by the President.  Additional duties as described in the Association job description which will be distributed to each Board Member upon appointment.

Assistant Secretary

Camille Fitzsimmonds

A native from the beautiful island of Jamaica, Camille has always been a part of the creative world.  It was inevitable Camille's mother acted with Louise Bennett who was a cultural icon and her father wrote for the Jamaican Gleaner.  Camille received a degree in Broadcasting and she also studied theater in college in New York and at Brenau University in Georgia. Camille has done a vast amount of TV Commercials, independent films, music videos, and theater. Camille was nominated for playwright of the year 2019. She wrote "Memory Laine" which helped
 Raise Awareness for the Alzheimer's foundation.  Camille volunteers for the Home of Hope children's shelter and recently was appointed Assistant Secretary for the Caribbean Association of GA. Camille also canvassed for various politicians during the elections. Camille firmly believes in giving back to her community.  The road  and path of her journey which she travels , Camille knows in her heart that the lord leads and guides her and she is a strong believer of Christ through him anything and everything is possible

Garfield Wilks


Garfield was born and raised in Jamaica in a little district called Blue Hole in the parish of St. Catherine. Garfield migrated to the United States of America in 2012. He completed a Master's in supply chain management and international business


Sergeant At Arms


Shall keep order during all general, committee and executive board meetings. He/she 

shall call the meeting to order; shall conduct conflict mediation when required; shall have a vote on executive board and on general member issues; shall ensure that facilities are prepared for meeting or other event; and shall perform additional duties as required by the President.  Additional duties as described in the Association job description which will be distributed to each Board Member upon appointment.


Youth Ambasador


Acting as liaisons and advocates in the community for programs for youth.  Youth Ambassadors will establish common ground and promote CAG mission while supporting educational development and youth initiatives in the community.  Work as a team member with others youth and appointed advisor(s).
