COMMITTEES

The Caribbean Association of Georgia consists of five (5) committees that fulfill
various needs of our local communities in Georgia and the Caribbean. We will require volunteer assistance to accomplish many activities.

   
 

HUMANITARIAN COMMITTEE
Our Humanitarian Committee is responsible for planning and implementing various programs to assist those that are in need in the local Georgia and Caribbean communities. Within this year we will conduct various endeavors such as: feeding the homeless, providing assistance to elderly individuals, providing care packages to military units in combat zones, conducting clothes drives, conducting food drives, donating reading items to the local VA hospital, donating stuffed and soft animals to pediatric wards plus numerous other activities.

   
 

EDUCATION COMMITTEE
The Education Committee is responsible for planning and coordinating book drives, scholarships, college preparation programs, mentorship programs, tutoring programs, computer donations, school supply donations, food drives, clothes drive and other activities deemed necessary to enhance students’ ability to learn and therefore improve their chances of becoming viable citizens in society.

   
 

HEALTH AND WELFARE COMMITTEE
The Health and Welfare Committee is involved with planning and coordinating seminars, workshops, drives, support groups, donations to medical facilities that are in need, providing volunteer opportunities to medical facilities and other coordination.

   
 

BUSINESS COMMITTEE
The Business Committee comprises of those individuals who owns a business officially. These individuals may plan, coordinate and conduct various seminars, workshops, projects, job fairs and other activities that will assist and improve businesses to generate economic growth. They will also educate and inform individuals of programs and policies that will enhance individual’s lives as it pertains to the economy.

   
 

EVENT PLANNING COMMITTEE
Our Event Planning Committee is one of the busiest groups in the organization. The responsibilities includes, but are not limited to planning and coordinating various events individually or in conjunction with the other committees and/or organizations. They will solicit volunteers to assist with carrying out duties to ensure success of future events.
